A decade of experience in old-school commercial broadcast radio gave JAFO a thorough grounding in the craft — copywriting, voice-over performance and audio production, all honed under license in a small but very functional home recording studio.

As I call New Westminster home, I recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem speaking peoples. I acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land. As a city, we are learning and building relationships with the people whose lands we are on.
